10/30/2012 Everything about our stay was good. My wife and I aren't particularly fancy people, but the host, the breakfast, and the accommodations were all high-class - and we appreciated it. We were only in Bruges for about 24 hours, so we did spend most of our waking moments out in the town. The suite was excellent, the bathroom was large. The accompanying sitting room was well-adorned. The lounge and balcony also looked very nice, though we didn't spend time there (closed after 2200, I believe, which was too early for us). Our host gave us all the information we could ask for - where to get an out of the mainstream brew, where to rent bikes, where to eat - you know, the important stuff. The location was very quiet, but close enough to everything. I was very pleased with our choice to stay at Huis 't Schaep and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

The staff is wonderfull en helpfull. The service is great. A classical place in the middle of Bruges. I loved it en will return to this dream.

10/01/2009 Huis t' Schaep is the most impressionable guesthouse we have ever stayed in (and believe me, we have stayed in many). It made our trip to Bruges even more special in that the hosts were incredibly generous with their information, restaurant recommendations and hospitality. We got a special tour of this amazing house which they are cleverly restoring such that the essence of the house had been recaptured. The rooms were all individual and remarkably decorated. If you are looking for a warm, comfortable and quiet guest house that is both intimate yet private, then this is the place to stay!
