Eco Paradise was a super hotel: pretty, directly next to the beach and with big rooms. Cumbuco itself was a cute town, don't expect too much from it. A nice beach, friendly people, a couple of bars/restaurants and a relaxed atmosphere. After a visit at Fortaleza it was great to return to Cumbuco. In the evening it was a bit colder because of the wind, so bring along a sweater! The wind wasn't bothersome, it was super that it was windy during the day, so it was never too hot on the beach. Going out to eat was a bit more expensive than some website claimed, but still quite cheap (around 12-14 euros p.p. for food and drinks). Be sure to eat at Sabor, or a weekend to Jericoacoara with a 4x4 car. The beach at Cumbuco was nicer though!
Good hotel. Located next to the beach, very nice. Next to the centre of Cumbuco. The rooms were basic. Too bad that there wasn't a balcony. The breakfast was simple, but we couldn't complain with the great spot beneath the palms with seaview. Cumbuco was a relief compared to Fortaleza.
Good hotel, located directly next to the beach. Kite in front of the door.
