06/25/2009 Yes, I got a great deal on Skoosh, so it was well worth it. Can't beat the location. Concierge was helpful, friendly, and accurate.

06/25/2009 Yes. The location and efficient customer service. The room's cooling system is not very good. It is an old hotel. Our room was on the 12th floor and despite the cold weather outside, the room was uncomfortably warm. We tried opening the window to let the cool breeze come in but it was useless because according to the maintenance guy, the room is a positive pressure room so the air travels outside but not going inside. Unfortunately, their thermostat is preset only up to 65 F. And even if it's set at 65 F, the room temp remained at 71 F because their central condenser is broken and old. We didn't get to sleep on our first night. Good thing we requested a room transfer the following day and they willingly transferred us to a lower floor.

06/25/2009 This is such a beautiful hotel, the service is fantastic and location and amenities are wonderful. It makes you feel warm and welcomed.

The problem that we had was mold in the bath/shower area; reported it to housekeeping, and it was not addressed. This was not expected for $300./nite, in a 5 star hotel. We could have stayed at the Four Seasons for half the price (that is with our Princess Cruise booking).
The hotel was "Stately, it was our choice of hotels as it is a historical building. The 2 yellow Labs, Mavis & Beau, work and lounge in the lobby, were a welcome treat away from home. Because of lack of housekeeping, we can not recommend this hotel.

06/25/2009 beautiful, large entrances and public rooms; guest rooms are decorated nicely but are very small; stayed 4 nights; asked for regrigerator for storing medecine,but it never arrived; requested extra pillow 3 times before it arrived; employees generally cold and few smiled
