06/25/2009 Great location, near ferry terminal and mtr station, or a 20 minute walk on a harbour front sidewalk to all the action in Kowloon. Restaurants are a bit pricy. Service and staff were great. We used phone in room to call home and didn't realize they were charging by the minute even though we used Skype and credit cards... 12 days worth of phone calls were US$800.00 I am totally bummed about that, could of had the worlds best cell phone and change left over for that much money. but... loved Hong Kong/Macau

06/25/2009 The physical plant was old-world elegant with all mod cons. The bed was marvelously comfortable--after a cramped 14-hour flight--and the room amenities were excellent. The room was large, the mini-bar well stocked, the provided toiletries generous. I was very impressed.

Another point to mention: the hotel is extremely easy to reach from the airport. There is an express train into Kowloon Station that is fitted out to handle suitcases. Luggage carts are provided at both ends of the trip. That train meets a complimentary bus that delivers you to the front door of the Harbour Plaza Hotel.

We were pleased in every way with this hotel--and the price, while not cheap, was certainly a bargain for this quality hotel in a very expensive city.
