We loved our trip to Zadar and Griet and Anri helped to make it even more enjoyable. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable and close to the city as well as a beach.

Each morning, Griet prepared an amazing breakfast consisting of things like yogurt, fruits, bread, granola, etc. Everything was homemade and the fruits and herbs were all from their garden. Griet and Anri even helped us plan our daily activities and were always willing to help and answer any questions.

We would love to stay here again and we highly recommend Kuca Bajlo to anyone visiting Zadar!

We were warmly greeted upon arrival with refreshments in the tranquil backyard garden and provided a thorough area overview with suggestions for activities/dining. Upon departure, Griet kindly provided home-baked treats/fruit for the road and suggestions for onward travel. A modern, light and clean accommodation with a fresh beach feel and shared terrace with stunning sea views for all guests. Breakfast is a special treat-Options are diverse, plentiful and tasty. Healthy eaters will be delighted, less-healthy eaters will be surprised that nutritious options could taste so good! The property is about a 25-min easy walk to old town. Bikes can also be rented directly from Bajlo. We were happy to stay tucked away in a quiet neighborhood rather than in the busy old town. The only slight drawback might be the nearby bell tower, which sounds at 6:30 daily. It could be slightly disturbing or a charming wake-up, depending upon how you choose to look at it-it is all a matter of perspective.

We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome at this beautiful, modern B&B. Griet showed us around and gave us home-baked treats along with our choice of beverage. Once we got settled, Anri helped us adjust two of their bikes (available for a daily fee) and we rode into the center of Zadar. It’s a 25 minute walk. On Griet’s recommendation, we had a great dinner at Pet Bunara in the heart of Zadar. The next day we explored all the nooks and crannies of that delightful coastal town. That evening, we were lucky that Griet was preparing a meal for her guests. For 22 Euro per person, we enjoyed a fabulous vegetarian dinner and had a great evening in the company of the other guests. Our room at the B&B was very large and comfortable. If you make a reservation, ask for a room with a sea view. We had a great stay and next time we make it to that area, we’ll definitely choose Kuca Bajlo again!

Kuca Bajlo is located about 15 minutes walking from the historical centre of Zadar. The house is one block from the sea, where you can follow a nice walking path along the sea wall to the centre. Griet and Anri (your hosts) are a wonderful couple, who keep a perfectly clean and well run accomodation. The breakfasts were delicious, especially Griet's homemade muffins, breads, teas, and jams. We also appreciated the vegetarian options (Griet is a vegetarian). We travelled with our two year old daughter, and Griet and Anri were great with her, she kept asking for them at our next destinations! We highly recommend Kuca Bajlo, and Zadar in general for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful location.
