Andel's Hotel in Prague was beautiful, service was fantastic in the brasserie and at the front desk, and most were accomodating of all our needs. Staff speaks English quite well, and although we were not lucky to be upgraded for FREE to the club suite as many reviews say, we decided to pay for it anyway and were WELL pleased with having done so...so many little perks, such a wonderful visit!
A few tips...if ever you see something you like in the gift shop area and there is someone there who can sell it to you, buy it THEN. I wanted a piece of jewelry & decided to wait, and never again in my weeklong stay was there a salesperson available any of the hours I was coming & going (strange, because it should have been "normal business hours," some of the time...I would have thought).
Also, the room service from Oscar's is HIGHLY recommended, especially the stuffed jalapeno peppers -- delicious!
And if one night you find yourself wanting to relax, go for a massage downstairs or take advantage of the in-room DVD player and rent a film. (We had a lot of issues, but eventually got all the films to work!)
Recommend Andel's to all -- enjoy your stay, and Praha!
