I had pretty high expectations for Copenhagen but they were much exceeded! The people are very kind and helpful (and stylish and gorgeous! So much eye-candy) and although it's a very expensive city, it can definitely be done on a budget: free entrance to the Glyptothek and National Museum on Sundays, two companies offering Free Walking Tours (I chose the one by Sandemans, as always) and of course the Little Mermaid is free to visit. St Albans church next to the Gefionspringvandet is certainly worth a visit, as is the larger Frederiks Dome, and both a free to the public. Christianshavn is the perfect hipster neighbourhood to wander around in, with Christiania being the weed infused cherry on the pie that is Copenhagen. The brightly coloured stunning architecture of the city and all the water surrounding it ensure perfect photographs and the atmosphere is really like nowhere else. Might be the cultural highlight of Scandinavia!
