What most impressed me about this site was the emphasis on environment protection. This is true of the ile as a whole. We were encouraged to recycle our rubbish as much as possible and the island is so user friendly for cyclists, even amateurs like me! The owners speak English which is good but also I was helped greatly to improve my French by the owner as they have a good library of French and English books in reception.
Some sites do not give out local info but on our arrival we were handed all the leaflets necessary to full enjoyment of our stay.
Being sited near St Georges ,the site is very central to most sights on the island. There is a Leclerc supermarket within easy reach, tres important in France!
Al the staff were v. Friendly and we certainly got value for money. Staying on September, we paid for 10 nights though we stayed 13.
The onsite Pizzeria was fine for 'fast food'. Also bread and essentials were available from there to order each day.
