Fabulous kids club - 3 excellent restaurants - superb breakfasts - quality crockery, furniture, cutlery etc. - huge sculptures - light, air, space, water, glass, colour, shadows - cool & contemporary - Zen - relaxing - large rooms - black-out curtains - queen size bed - large flat screen TV - bath robes - big sun towels - extremely attentive staff - incredible room service - impeccably clean - spectacular views - quiet air-con - visually stunning... the list could go on!
The Hotel is expensive once you are there but then this is 5 star.

04/17/2013 The views are spectacular - sea and mountains and the extensive gardens are so pretty. Our room was on the ground floor and was dark because of all the foliage outside but that was the only downside.
It was spacious and clean with comfy beds. We didnt bother to request a change of room because we were meeting old friends who were booked in next door.
The staff were so pleasant.
All in all it was a wonderful holiday and will be returning.

04/15/2013 Regarding the Minos imperial in Crete I have to say that I've been greatly impressed by the landscape, the service, the hotel staff, the facilities and their restaurants of this property. We stayed at room 1416 and the view from this room is spectacular. The view you have from its terrace (with private swimming pool with sea water in it) is amazing: the Mountain, the sea, so romantic!.

We stayed in a standard room, but we have friends who came and was booked into a suite with its own pool this was fabulous.

01/24/2013 My boyfriend and I stayed at this wonderful hotel in September 2012.
Rooms: Sophisticated decor, very clean, 2 showers, bath, huge mirrors, free easy-to-use safety box and a mini bar stocked with Pepsi, beer, bottled water etc. We stayed in the main hotel and had a great view from our balcony. It looked like the majority of rooms including the villas would have pleasant sea or pool view rooms.
Food: The crepes and waffles were nice and ideal. The main dining hall was a scramble at dinner times. We sometimes didn’t get served a drink til we had finished our main course. The meat and fish from the show cooking was often not cooked well throughout. The speciality restaurants were great. You have to book the day before, I recommend trying all of them. Our favourite was the Asian; chicken with ananas and sushi bar.

04/19/2013 The room was spacious and well furnished, great bathroom and the views were superb.
Food wise there was a good choice of everything with chefs on hand for freshly cooked omelettes etc.
There were some good restaurants at the first village on the Milatos road or Sissi.
Good pools and safe swimming in the sea, we had a really relaxing break.

01/17/2013 The hotel is well designed with an interesting and varied lay out so that rooms feel secluded even though it is actually a large hotel.
We stayed in a bungalow without paying for a sea view but were allocated a room with a view of the sea anyway. The room was clean and well laid out with fittings and furnishings in good condition.
The hotel has several pools and there were always enough sunbeds available during our stay.
The hotel has its own section of beach with free sunbeds, towels and umbrellas with a shallow sandy beach. At times the sea was a bit rough for unaccompanied toddlers but parents could resort to holding young children in the shallower part of the sea.

01/17/2013 The spa facilities of pool, gymn and sauna were free to hotel guests, treatments were extra and were very good but not cheap. Staff were attentive and helpful and gave service with a smile in our experience.

08/30/2012 Have been anticipating a classic two weeks in Greece for some time. Finally managed it here, lot to live up to and everything and everyone here went beyond expectation.
the little protected beach gave the children all the fun and freedom we could have wished for, we knew where they were from the beach loungers and even the beach bar.
there were two bathing areas on the beach, one secure by an artificial embankment, the other completely natural and beautiful waves.
This dam was very reassuring for our children.
The food was tremendous and all inclusive suited grown ups and children in a beautiful setting and nothing like a canteen. The room we stayed in was very much 5 star with very discreet service and views to die for. All the staff were exceptional and the manager made us feel welcome and very special. Already looking forward to going back next year.

01/24/2013 What can I stay? I want to go again..... We went to the Minos resort as a family with our 8 year old boy the first week in august 2012 and were delighted! Excellent rooms, beautiful hotel. Great food and staff! We had a lovely week with great weather. I think others have commented on the restaurant booking situation, which was to be order to get a table one week before of the lovely a la carte restaurants.
My only other gripes are that I would have like a little more english TV, and a kettle in my room. I dont want to sit in my room watching tv on holiday, however when we all returned to the room to shower it would be good to have something to switch on to keep the children entertained. I also prefer to have my first hot drink in my room in the morning and not wait til breakfast, so a kettle would have also been a welcome addition to the room. In all I have got to say that for what we paid for our holiday we were absolutely delighted and would definitely go back.
