05/15/2009 Located directly next to the beach. Only there are some cars crossing this part of the beach! Very friendly and helpful personnel. The pool and the reclining chairs are good. The beds are hard and the shower has a small jet of water, that is not always warm. But for that price you will get a reasonable apartment, with a beautiful location.

05/07/2009 The owner is lazy. Not hospitable at all. Basic interior. Taking a shower is almost impossible. The toilet is placed on a platform. Very awkward. The restaurant was mediocre.

05/08/2009 We always enjoy coming to Pierros. And we always feel welcome here. The location next to the beach is good. Via the beach you can visit the crowdiness of the main street. Pierros is to us one of the best places to stay at. The personnel at the restaurant and at the apartment is friendly and hospitable. So a good complex.

10/20/2008 July 2008, Greece. We had to wait a long time before we were allowed to enter our apartment (after a long flight at night). Eventually we did have a beautiful holiday. The trips via the hostess are good. I do not recommend to book trips next to the road, they sometimes cancel those because of the wind. And I do not have very good experiences with those. Tasty food, nice perosnnel and beautiful places to see, like blue caves, ship wreck, kefalonia. We rented a nice car, Citroen. And kerry sunset is also very beautiful to go to. Many olives behind the apartment and a nice pool. There is even a Greek dance with a barbecue next to the apartment. Really nice to experience. And all people will invite you for a meal. Because they all try to lure you into their bar/restaurant. Have fun in Laganas.

10/10/2008 We have stayed here for the third time and I have to admit that Laganas is going downhill. Too many British tourists came to this place and you can really notice that right now. The main street was always bad, but now it is starting to look like a ghetto. Apartment complex Pierros is not worth its 2 stars anymore, but I heard that they are going to renovate it. The food at Pierros is really good. Panos is a good cook. The hospitality is still super!!! Our friend Dimitris makes the hospitality complete. Zakynthos is a beautiful island, go explore it on your own. Rent a car of a scooter and go exploring. I do not understand why some people recommend Vezal, it is very gross there, cold food and very greasy. Do not go there!!! Go to Scoublou, el Greeco. Further down the road is a very good Italian restaurant, nearby Keri Beach, or drive to Kampi (halfway you can find the restaurant from Michaelis). In Zakynthos city are many good places where you can eat.

10/02/2008 Cosy apartment complex with simple, but neat rooms. The shower is very small. A beautiful location, almost next to the beach and close to the centre of Laganas. The service at the restaurant is very good. Very many nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.

05/21/2009 We had a good holiday. These reviews were a great help to us. It is a good, but simple destination. We had a good meal at the restaurant and everyone was very friendly and helpful. They really do their best to make sure that all guests have an enjoyable holiday. They especially did their best for our son, who celebrated his birthday there. So this year we will stay at Pierros again.

01/31/2009 Over here it is almost as good as at home. Do not pay attention to the cutlery and the pans/pots, because you will never eat inside your apartment/studio anyway, apart from the breakfast. On the beach and next to the main street and many good and even better restaurants, where you can get tasty meals for little money (10-20 euros/person for 3 courses). Rent a car for 2 days and explore the sialnd (especially the west sidee is beautiful and nice to drive). Get some rest at Pierros. Use a pedal boat to sea some giant turtles in the sea (half of May - the end of July). Do not pay attention to all the British youngsters. During the day you can laugh with them, but in the evening they are all drunk. Pierros is located just far enough from the main street, so it will not bother you. If you go there please say hi to Dimitris (receptionist), Nick and Panaiotis (bar and perfect cook). We have been going there for 3 years already and we would love to stay there again. 05/03/2009 Pierros is a spot for persons who prefet ambiance and cosiness, instead of luxury. The restaurant has a simple meny, but it tasty and affordable. The apartment (double room) is spacious, but with a simple interior. Especially the kitchen has a poor inventory (1 pan, 1 frying pan, some plate, cutlery, glasses and cups). Just enough for a one-pan meal. The bathroom has a tight shower. The beds are hard. Located at the border of Laganas, far from all the crowdiness next to the main street. Supermarket next to the apartment (simple assortment), with daily fresh bread and open till 22:00. Very easy. Tip: go (via the beach) to Agios Sostis (20 minutes) and go to Olé Olé. Here you can get a very tasty Greek meal (first course and main course) for 9.50 euros/person. Father and son really care for their restaurant and their guests! A beautiful island in April/May (rent a car!). You can see the turtles from the 15th of May.

04/01/2009 This accommodation has a good location. If you cross the street you will be on the beach already. The shops and restaurants are in the near surroundings. A shop at the other side of the road. The rooms are not very big, but that was no problem. You are almost always outside anyway.
