06/25/2009 We booked here on the recommendations of others and were thrilled. Excellent location within easy walking distance of city attractions, neighborhoods, and restaurants. Very nice room, terrific breakfast buffet. We checked at 5:30 am. having just arrived on the overnight train and we given very early access to our room--much appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again!

06/25/2009 Great location and very nice modern rooms. I stayed for six days and only had a few problems, they missed getting a message to me from a friend and they sent me to a store so I could buy a toy for my daughter that had moved over six years ago. But these are really minor issues, the breakfast buffet that was included in the price was very nice and the staff were all very professional and tried to be very helpful.

06/25/2009 The best thing about the hotel was its location, right across the street from the Opera and off of Andrassy smack in the middle of all the tourist attractions. The beds were a little too firm for my liking and the sheets must not have been cotton because they caused myself and my partner to sweat. It was odd. The breakfast that was included was good but more European oriented i.e. continental type offerings....although they did have scrambled eggs (way undercooked) and bacon, which was always very undercooked as well. The staff was accomodating..some more pleasant than others. They did not offer a dedicated concierge which I thought was strange for this type of hotel. Instead, you asked for help directly with the front desk staff. At times, this was akward because it always seemed like you were bothering them since they had to deal with arriving guests etc. All in all, though I would recommend this hotel. It was clean and well maintained, the showers were strong and always had hot water and the rooms were quiet.

06/25/2009 A really nice hotel. Upscale looking without the excesses of large hotels. Very comfy beds and plenty of room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast (didn't try the champagne). The 3 free internet terminals in the lobby were nice to have. Great location on quiet street, just a few steps from the metro (supermarket and bank ~1 block away). The area didn't feel touristy compared to the river area. Short walk to Liezst?? Square which had some good restaurants. Highly recommended. Also booking through Skoosh was both the best value and check-in was flawless(I didn't even have to give a credit card).

06/25/2009 This is an excellent hotel in a very good location (just behind the Opera). I went to a ballet and it was really
nice to get to the performance in 30 seconds from my room. There was construction on the street all around the hotel and the opera house while I was there (bricks were being relaid), so it was a little inconvenient, but it should
be completed soon, I guess. One problem I had was that I requested a wakeup call for 4am (for an early flight at
7am). The agent who took my request apparently forgot to mark it on the request sheet, so of course the night
staff didn't call me. They did apologize and I was really glad I had my own travel alarm clock, so it worked out.
But overall, I was very pleased with the room and the hotel.

06/25/2009 We were there from September 6, 2006 through September 10, 2006. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Opera House, which is handy for walks to the tradional haunts. Breakfast, which is included, was exceptional. The only negative is that the hotel is narrow, so there are very few rooms with a view. Highly recommend.

06/25/2009 The hotel is centrally located on the Pest side of the Danube, with lots of restaurants around and St. King Stephen's Basilica only a 5-minute stroll away.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. There was internet access in the room and down in the lobby. The breakfast provided by the hotel was wonderful ... nothing exotic, but you could eat your fill.

My spouse and I loved it.
