08/03/2012 De vijf of zes verschillende strandjes van Canggu liggen niet ver van elkaar, maar de straatjes ernaar toe zijn uitgestrekt, zodat het met de scooter of auto een aardig eindje rijden kan zijn.
Bij Echo beach een aantal leuke restaurantjes, zoals Sticky Fingers, Echo Beach Club, richting Batu Bulong strand ook een leuk restaurantje, OM genaamd (t.o. Tugu hotel). Er wordt veel gebouwd, strand was ook vol met bulldozers. Het was niet echt onze toplokatie van Bali.

04/15/2008 Canggu is een badplaats in opkomst, waar het nog lekker rustig is en de bevolking zeer vriendelijk is naar de gasten. Kuta ligt slechts 7 kilometer verderop. Maar geef ons maar Canggu.

07/25/2006 This year I stayed at Canggu for the first time. In a villa in the middle of the town. I definitely recommend it for some rest. And by taxi or rented motorcycle you could go anywhere.

09/19/2005 Canggu was far away from the busyness, but nice if you like rest and space and if you want some more contact with the locals.

06/13/2004 Prima voor rust prachtige kamers/tuin/ zwembad/strand ( zwemmen in zee soms niet mogelijk=gevaarlijk). Veel gratis shuttles naar Kuta (30 min);handig want bijna geen restaurants in de buurt (hotel eten wel OK) Staf is prima. Huur superbriendelijke "Nikki Lauda" voor fantastische trips in prima minivan
