08/24/2011 We, with our (5 children and 1) went to this campsite and stayed in a bungalow (up to comfort 8.0). The caravan had a terrace over the whole width, with a large canopy, which is very useful against both the Sun and the rain (1 day rain, had further wonderful weather). The campsite is, like many campsites in Italy, "full" with caravans and places for tents, that lets you experience as a negative, but we have had absolutely no burden of our neighbours. For older children, it is a super nice campsite, for our children we found it all to something massive ... The pool is very varied, children's playground covered which is nice from the Sun, the payment system we found very pleasant (you got every time if you bought a bon and an overview what you credit was still on). The area surrounding the Lago Maggiore is superb and there is plenty to see or do. What we found a disadvantage is that you can only check out after 8.00 a.m.

09/02/2011 This campsite is really great for a 2 star campsite; clean sanitary (cleaned three times per day), nice (but relatively cold) pool, beautiful and clean (hot) more with beach, almost all camping places are equipped with trees (many shadow so). The large emplacements are also really big. Very occasionally the evening what restless by the youth, but around midnight, it is really quiet. The restaurant on the camping is pretty simple but ok. Near the campsite is a pizzeria which is quite good (according to me is called the Vivaldi; at the roundabout) where you can eat delicious and relatively cheap. Recommendable! For the rest, of course, you can enjoy a trip to Milan. For 3 euros you can buy a ticket for the metro, tram and bus. The car you can park your car at Lampugnano of 1.60 per day (parking garage). You can also visit Islands by boat. On the campsite is plenty of information for day trips. This camping I definitely recommend, especially fun for the youth.

09/01/2011 Now been twice on this campsite (2008 and 2011) and we now have all right reserved for next year! This year we had a Maxi Comfort de Luxe 8.30. Equipped with TV and air conditioning. 3 SKS, 1 bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet and a toilet, sink and bidet in the large sk. they are still very new and look neat. Pay your vacation should be cash, there is an ATM on the campsite. Paying at the campsite must use a "rechargeable" pas/key. It is just getting used to, but incredibly useful. The animation is suitable from "as they can walk, they may join"! We have already had, but the a-team what campsites of Continental stitch with head and shoulders above all the others. The pool has 2 water slides, a wave pool and the Lake is super appliance, you can catch up very far without the really deep. The temperature of the water was tasty. It is an ideal campsite for children up to a year or 15.

09/03/2011 We came again this time on the 20th August for a 2 week stay in a maxi caravan. The campsite is like little Holland!. 90% of the guests are Dutch, in my estimate. The caravan was well cared for and the spots are reasonably generous. A small lake with a sandy beach and extremely clear water where the soil slowly ends, is child-friendly and very nice, as well as the entire environment. On the other side of this lake is a nice village with a good pizzeria. In many restaurants it seems to be normal that meals are not all served at the same time. Waiting for the rest of the dinner is not advisable, because the food gets cold before everyone has something. The town of Stresa is also worth to visit. Parking is tricky, very busy. The cable car to the toboggan run is also a nice trip, though pricey (return € 52.00, 2 adults 2 children of 6 and 8 years) The toboggan has to be paid for separately and is disappointing. The run is very short.

08/09/2011 The campsite is clean, there is a lot to do, we found the staff friendly, and the caravan was relatively clean. However, everything is close to each other, the caravans, such as the pitches. We were on nr 45, and the whole day had caravan people around us. Our neighbors smoked the entire time, making your caravan stink the whole day. We also had, as well as the neighbours, trouble with mice that you heard in the night on the ceiling. There was also a lot of noise from the granite factory behind the camping. The neighbors left their screaming infant from 7 o'clock in the morning, so rest and relaxation were not possible. The reception was completely unhelpful, and offered us no help or solution. At the pool and the Lake: all packed in good weather so no place to lie down. The sunbeds by the pool are often equipped with towels, but no owner to see. So no spot to lie down. You pay a lot for this caravan's, but you get little back.
