Stayed in this hotel from the 5th of august till the 7th, meaning I stayed there during the Memorial. Booked the hotel quite late for this period and it was the only hotel I could find that was still available and in my price range. I wasn't expecting this, the hotel is perfect, the prime minister of Japan was staying the first night we were there, so there were a lot of security, but it wasn't too bothering. The beds were a gods gift after sleeping on the floor in Ryokans for 2 weeks. The Japanese restaurant on the upper floor has great view and food off course. The bakery downstairs is great for breakfast. Unfortunatly the swimming pool was closed, but the boat ride to Miyajima (boat leaves in front of the hotel) made up for it. Location is perfect, centre can be reached by taxi.
Would come back anytime!
