06/25/2009 We loved the Granada, particularly the shared access to the other El Cid properties across the street. Rooms were huge and spotless, staff was exceptional. The flaws: You are assaulted by Timeshare Salespeople wandering the lobby. When we checked in our room "wasn't ready." We were told to have a seat in the lobby. We did, and were approached by a salesperson. We left the lobby and came back later. At that time the Bellman told us our room was ready, only to be stared down by another Timeshare Salesperson who "corrected" him. We were then offered an upgraded room which was ready immediately, which we could have at no charge if we attended a presentation. When it was obvious we would again refuse, our room instantly became available. My wife also had her cell phone stolen from the room, but we should know not to leave it laying out.
