09/19/2011 De kustweg van Blenheim via Kaikoura naar Cheviot is van een grote schoonheid en men kan onderweg dan ook voortdurend genieten van prachtige kustlandschappen, even voorbij Kaikoura voert de weg iets meer door het binnenland en zijn de berglandschappen van Lowry Peaks Range rond Cheviot erg mooi.
Ten noorden van Kaikoura kan men zeerobben zien op de rotsen bij Ohau Point en nog wat verder richting Blenheim ligt in het dorpje Kekerengu het leukje wegrestaurant The Store, een heerlijke plaats om er te lunchen of zomaar even een kop koffie te drinken.
