First time visiting Turkey and I stayed at the Green Gold Hotel for two weeks. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel had a beautiful reception hall and nice food. The food quality in Turkey is much better than the U.S., so I really enjoyed trying new things. Overall quality of the hotel rooms were nice as well. I only can compare it to U.S. hotels, so though it may not be five stars, it would still be considered a decent place to stay in the U.S. There were a few times the water took time to heat up, but otherwise I had no complaints. The surrounding area was great to take walks. Definitely ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxed holiday. Not too busy but also not too boring. Everything seemed to shut down around 10 pm. And since I went in September, the holiday season was slowing, so the noise level was down and leaving the sliding door open all night was never a problem. Most importantly I felt very safe the entire length of my stay, especially as a foreigner who doesn't speak the language. So, needless to say, best of luck to anyone who chooses Green Gold Hotel.
