07/02/2009 We had been booked into the Cordial House, which was overbooked, and so we were moved to Antea Hotel. The people there were extremely rude and the accomodations terrible. We walked right across the street and got a beautiful room in a warm, friendly hotel with knowledgable staff, comfortable rooms, wonderful food, and the hospitality we have come to expect in Istanbul. We'll never stay anywhere else!

06/25/2009 Great location! Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a bit small and modest, however, a GREAT value for the money. I would recommend for couples on a budget.

06/25/2009 When looking for a hotel in Istanbul, I sought a safe area, clean hotel, affordable price, and proximity to sites. Hotel Mina was much more than that. The hotel met all of my needs plus a wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, a beautiful dining room and roof lounge area, and a very lovely room. The room was smallish (compared to American hotels), but did not limit our movement. I travelled with my three year old daughter and the staff was quite helpful with making her feel comfortable, maneuvering my stroller and finding foods that met her picky needs. The hotel is an easy walk from the Hagia Sofia or the Blue Mosque and the tram line. When I return to Istanbul, I will stay in this hotel again, and again.

06/25/2009 the staff was very polite and in fact, often went above and beyond to help us out, even walking with us to a tour company to show us where it was...the room was great, the food and the view from the sixth floor restaurant was wonderful...all in all we would go back to this very same hotel anytime we visited istanbul in the future

06/25/2009 Expectations exceeded. Staff friendly, responsive & informative. Room small but very adequate & normal for Turkey. Everything functioned. Breakfast average like all Hotels encountered on 20 day tour. Really close to everything & centrally located. Neighborhood quiet & up scale, little noise. Nice view from restaurant. Provided airport transfer at 4AM with Hotel Van at a reasonable cost of 50 YTL. Coffee & Juice delivered to room at 3:15AM. Wine & cocktails expensive as was the case throughout all of Turkey. Exceptionally clean Hotel & definitely recommended. 20 June 2008
