    Een stuk rustiger dan Oahu

    Zalige week doorgebracht op dit eiland.

    Met auto hele eiland verkend. Ook met catamaran een dagje gesnorkeld en de duikboot was ook top!

    Vooral het pittoreske is op het eiland nog te vinden. Mooiste plaats: Lahaina

    Rondrit noord is misschien wel mooier dan de bekende via Hana. Die rondrit heeft echter prachtige watervallen en wandelingen.

    Mooi wijkje/ plaatsje, met goed onderhouden openbaar groen. Het staat voornamelijk uit luxe resorts en condo's. Er is een leuk winkelcentrumpje met enkele restaurantjes. Ook in de resorts zitten restaurants. Verwacht hier geen spetterend nachtleven, maar wel prachtige strandjes. In Wailea kan goed gesnorkeld worden en prima boogyboarden. Voor kinderen zijn de stranden in dit gebied veilig: geen sterke stromingen. Goede snorkelspullen en boogyboards zijn in het winkelcentrum voor laag bedrag te huur. Ook de resorts verhuren ze. De golven zijn hier niet groot genoeg voor echt surfen (kitesurfen kan weer wel erg goed).

    Auto huren is op alle eilanden noodzakelijk.
