09/09/2010 What a lovely holiday super beaches great places to walk and take in fantastic scenery. A winner with the kids and beach games. Lovely places to eat out both during the day and evening. Central to so many other places of interest and beauty and not a lager lout in sight!

09/04/2009 Travel just 5 mins outside town to Morfa Bycan where there is Black Rock Sands, a wonderful beach with a back drop of the Snowdonia National Park. Perfect.

10/11/2007 Nicer coatsal regions in Wales, steamtrain into hills, Portmeirion is nice as is the italian village.

08/21/2005 Stayed in a cottage close to Portmadog. Boring place save for the steamtrain into the hills. Nice, quiet beaches, check if there are any knights tournaments. Harlach Castle is worth a visit. Quite pricey though. Our kids ages 4 and 7 had fun.
